After a long wait of more than 5 Months, the World's most used free and open source Linux distro is out for the public. On October 18th 2012 Ubuntu 12.10 is out now, named Quantal Quetzal. The Word Quantal is something related to Quantum Mechanics. Quetzal is a south american bird shown in the above pic.

On the first looks it looks new and better than other versions. As they have made so many changes in there new version. Compared to other versions this is very easy to install. It works comfortably on most hardwares.

Even though this version is not LTS Release, This release includes Python 3, Linux Kernel Version updated to 3.5, It is having New Grub 2 Loader, Dash home view is changed with some new effects.

This version came up with so many bundled application, Nautilus File Manager version still not updated to 3.6, it is still @v3.4 for Quantal Quetzal.

The default Search returns result from Amazon search, i didn't liked it :( , How we can forget Google.

Ubuntu 12.10 is around 800Mb, so it needs a DVD to get burned.
