How to Download videos in 3gp format
# Step 1 :
Find the video you have to download, Your URL will look like this :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx_rRirV2vc
# Step 2 :
Now change the "www" to "m" : so your URL will look like this :
m.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx_rRirV2vc
now copy this URL to your browser and hit enter, then you will be redirected to the Youtube's official Mobile version.

Now you just need to right click "Watch Video" and copy that URL to some download manager, you can see the video in 3gp format is getting download. Or else copy to some browser and hit enter you can see it is getting download directly.

ReplyDeleteI have tried all the steps described above. But it doesn't work. It shows the following message "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (rtsp) isn't associated with any program."

DeleteI have tried to download as per your details. But it shows below message when I tries to copy URL in IDM. "rtsp protocol is not supported by IDM at this time or might be a speeling mistake." What should I do after this?? Waiting for your kind reply, Thank u frnd

DeleteYou can copy the link to the browser like chrome or mozilla. The IDM will automatically fetch the download of the video
Though downloading YouTube videos is not legal & it's not permitted by YouTube but If you and I were producers,we can allow YouTube downloading only if intended for fair use. Also you gonna find many youtube videos which is under creative common license and reuse is permitted. So you can download those kind of videos and also reuse it.

DeleteI agree with you that youtube doesn't allow downloading their videos because they want their visitors to visit their website again and again, so that
they can chare their advertisers for displaying relevant ads on them. You recommended using DAP but It doesn't give you option to download videos in mp3. Here is
the free youtube to mp3 converter which I personally use.
