Find Facebook Profile Using Image URL or Saved Image

In this post i will help you to find Facebook Profile Using Facebook Image URL. You can use the same method if you a Downloaded image from Facebook. I am writing this post because of an experience i had on last day.


Last day i seen one pic in my friend's laptop, i really had an attraction to that Pic because of one man in that pic. It was Mark Zuckerburg. I asked my friend from where he got this pic, he told me that he got somewhere from Facebook. I copied that pic, and using this method, i traced back to the origin of this picture. So lets start to find the Facebook Profile. ( The pic i seen is shown below )

How to Find Facebook profile ?

 

# Step 1 :



Find the URL of the image or name of the image you saved from Fb, In my experience it was  


and the name was : 376276_10100455456009301_1862865325_n


The last part of URL and the name Looks same. :)



# Step 2 :



Now it is "handle with care situation"

Now you have to copy the Second Number from the last part, Number after the First Underscore ( _ ) , in Both URL and Images Name it is same.

In Our case it is 10100455456009301 , This Number will be the ID of the image , Never-mind that



# Step 3 :



Copy that number and paste after  http://www.facebook.com/paste_number_here


Then it will be redirected to the Image's album, Then you can simply find the Whose profile it was. We can check it here now, See the image below.

This is the redirected page, Here you can see Profile Link of the owner below the pic, Just click and you are on the profile of Picture's Owner

I our example case it was Mark Zuckerberg's Profile and it was nice to visit his profile again :)

      Hi Ron,

      the url you posted is actually a pic inside some facebook group and that is having some limited acces. That's why the second number looks like that "371616992880562". we can't trace back the people inside a particular group. this method is only for the pic uploaded to some profile id.

    When i download a picture its not that long string.. i get for example: facebook.823657945 what can i do with that?

      that maybe sometimes profile id, or some group id like that... just try facebook.com/"number"

    Very useful hint!
    Didn't work with the photo I was trying. Probably due to privacy settings from the photo's owner. However is good to know this is possible!

    I don't think this works on a profile owner that has personalized a username ..... something like "facebook.com/mike_brown" ..... what's your opinion?

    hi thanks for the awesome trick. this trick cannot be used to private fb profile rite? perhaps if you know hw to view private fb profile photo, u can share it?
