Writing and Publishing Joomla 3.0 Blog Post ?
# Step 1 :
Lo-gin to your Joomla 3.0 Administrator Panel. You have to be author of the Joomla blog to get starting.

# Step 2 :
Click on "Content --> Article Manager --> Add New Article" or select "Add New Article" from the Quick Icons on the Right side.

You can now start writing your first post. Type in your Title and write your post body as shown in the screen shot.

Note : Select category to "Blog" otherwise it won't get published.
# Step 4 :
You can change your post details on the right side.
Set the details of the post to :
Status to : Published
Access : Public (so anyone can see your article)
Featured : Yes (so it will get published in your home page)
Language : All

You can edit the publishing details of your post. By select the second tab "Publishing Options". There you can set the URL Alias of your post, then you can edit the "Created By" alias and much more.

As you are creating a blog, Meta description and Meta Keywords on all particular is very very important for better SEO. This description and keywords can helps search engines to point out your Article on search engine results. You can description by clicking "Metadata Options". Please do it for getting better Search Engine Optimization.
