In this tutorial i will show / teach you how to create a new article category in Joomla 3.0. Joomla 3.0's design as blog is getting widely spread through most of the hands of Bloggers around the world. Joomla 3.0 Blog is having so many features than their earlier versions. And there are so many options to modify the SEO of blog articles. The article optimization is the very important part of the Blogger's blogging life. Making article Categories will help your visitors to recognize the related
articles very easily and thus by increase the page-views of your blog. And decrease the Bounce rate. Making bounce rate around 60% mark is somewhat really great work and it is not an easy way to make our blog's bounce rate near to 50 % mark. But you can make by developing these type of simple things.
# Step 3 :
Now a space for creating a new category Details will come. And type in the required details about the category. Category Title and some description about the category.

Now you can select the next tab - "Options" to set the category options that we have to initialize for the better optimization .

Next is to add Metadata Options . By adding Metadata about the category we are increasing the SEO of our blog article Categories. It is always better to prevent than cure.

Now click the Save button on the top . That's it you have created one Article Category Name . You can check the list of Categories you have created in the Category manager . Look i have create one Category named Joomla Tutorials. :) Happy Blogging

Create New Article Category In Joomla 3.0

Login to your Joomla Administrator account.
http://yoursitename/administrator : Default Joomla admin Login page :)

Now you will be taken to Joomla 3.0 Administrator Control Panel.
Now Click on the Content -- > Category Manager -- > Add New Category
Now Click on the Content -- > Category Manager -- > Add New Category
