Today in this Internet World, every parents are worried about what their children are doing in the online Medias. They are worried about their child's safety in the online medias (especially Parents of Girls).
Nowadays most of the college and school students are spending most of their Time in Facebook and other open online Social Networks. In One way, they are all good up-to certain extend, by which we can keep in touch with so many Old Friend's as well as our college friends too.
But every coin has two sides, when we look through the other side of the coin, it is more active than the good side that i mentioned earlier.There are so many attackers around the world, who are targeting mostly girls to grab their Photos, Videos, and their personal Information for unwanted purposes.
But main problem with poor parents is "They don't know how to block websites from their Kids". There are so many software with Parental Lock system and all, but it costs Money for some simple steps to do. But most of the parents are illiterate in the field of computers or Online medias.
The statistics from authentic sources proves that, many of the Criminal and terrorist activities are planned using Online medias, like Facebook, Myspace etc... because they are providing lot of freedom in the world of Internet. That causes all the parents think about to block these types of online media from their children.
# Step 1 :
Goto : C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\
and open the hosts file in Notepad
Or Take Run Prompt by taking start and Run, there you have to type in
notepad c:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\
# Step 2 :
Now you can see a notepad. Go to the last line and add below lines to that
127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com
127.0.0.1 www.fb.com
127.0.0.1 www.myspace.com
Save that notepad file after editing, that's it you are done blocking all the websites you want. :)
And you can any websites you wish to block from you children.
