How To Make Your Own Proxy Server For Free Using Google App


In most of the colleges and at offices many of the websites are blocked from users. Actually they are blocking our enjoyment times , very sad for that peoples. But don't be sad , in early times we found Proxy Servers for unblocking the websites.

Actually Proxy Servers are server that can be used to hide our identity in the internet. Client can access any website using proxy server, after connecting to Proxy Server client will request for a web page or any file available on the internet , proxy server will reply with our particular requests. Anonymouse is a free online proxy server , based at Russia.

But Why can't we think of a proxy server of our own , thought is very good , but main issue is that it needs lots of bandwidth and free web hosting sites will not allow us for making "Proxy Server". Now it is the time for make your own Proxy server with Google AppEngine , Google won't mind to give their server space to their clients for free.

So lets Start ,

Step 1: Type in appengine.google.com and sign-in using your Google Account. If you don't have a google account Sign Up Here

Step 2: Click "Create Application" Button , as you are using this for first time , security matters here so you will be asked for a mobile verification. If your country is not listed there please add country code before your mobile number. Google will send you a verification code as text. Type the Verification Text and

Step 3: Find an unique name for creating your personal proxy server. Sub Domain should be unique. Your unique name will be your App Identifier , this is need in later step for creating application. "datos-mac" is my Online Proxy Server App Id. Now agree the terms and services of Google and save the 
application.

Step 4: Now your application is successfully registered. First half of your job is done , next if you don't have Python installed on your computer , please download Python for particular Operating System from here and install it on Your computer.

Step 5: Now download Google AppEngine for Python from Google Code and install it .

Step 6: Now we need the code , if you have skills in Python Coding please try to produce one Proxy code :)  or else download this mirror-server.zip file , and unzip it anywhere in computer that you can remember well.

Step 7: Moving to last steps , now start the Google App Engine that you installed earlier , then click Edit - > Preferences  and assign appropriate paths (refer it in the figure)

Before getting into next step make sure the zip file downloaded in step 6 is unzipped to any location in the computer.

Step 8: Click File - > Add Existing Application (ctrl+shift+N) , and browse to the directory of unzipped mirror-server folder (Application Path) , then click Add.

Step 9: Now click Edit Button on the tool bar , then one notepad file  will popup , there replace "datos-mac" with your App ID you created during the Step 3 (your sub domain).

Step 10: Now click Deploy and wait seconds , then it will show Deployment successful , That's it you are ready with your own Online Proxy Server.

Drawbacks : We cant access any Log-in pages

  1. When I clicked on deploye I entered the my id and password but when I clicked ok it showed me the below scripts
