How to Deactivate a Facebook Account (Explained)

Facebook is the most used Social Networking site in the world. Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg  in the year 2004. First it was called as TheFacebook and  is first started focusing on people in Harvard university (See the picture below of the first look of Facebook in year 2004). Due to the success he made it public for all the people around the world who like to communicate with their friends. Now as per statistics by June 2012 Fb crosses 955 Million users
and it is very phi-nominal. Facebook is standing First in Alexa Rank.

This earlier is only concentrated on Harvard Peoples.

Now facebook got so many features, in my last post i wrote about their Latest change in the Album View Look. In this post i will explain how to Deactivate a Facebook Account. We can permanently deactivate as well as for temporary one.We can look in this article, how we can do that.

How to Deactivate Fb Account ?

# Step 1 :

Sign In to your Facebook Account. Then click the Down Arrow on your home page and take the Account Settings ( Please check the picture below) if you find again difficulty in taking please click the below link after you sign-in to your Facebook Account : https://www.facebook.com/settings

# Step 2 :

After taking account settings, select the Security tab ( Please check the Picture Below) there you can find one "Deactivate Your Account" Button on bottom of the page.

# Step 3 :

First they will ask about what is the reason for your deactivation of account. you can select anyone of the option. There are so many Interesting Option around it, you can select by your need. If you want to deactivate your account temporarily you can select the third option. i.e. "This is temporary. I'll be back." We can fool our friends by using this feature :).

# Step 4 :

Type in If you have Further Explanation (it is optional). 

Make sure you check that "Email Opt Out" Box , that allows you to get free from the Notification, Otherwise you will get notification on everything that friends invitation, tagging and everything. So please make sure you are checking that box .

Then select Confirm that's it you have Deactivated your account.
