Blogger Naked Domain Redirection Is Not Working (Solved)

What ?

Blogger's Naked Domain redirection is not working Since 19th September 2012. Now naked domain is showing Google's 404 Not found page. Blogger will need more days to solve the issue, i think. Because there was an issue before, But it was solved by September 16th. So i found one interesting solution for it, as i am not waiting for Blogger to solve the issue (i know it will take time). As a blogger i don't like my Blog Invatac.com not to get redirected
to www.invatac.com and also it is not good for SEO. I am sharing the solution for those who want solution for this issue immediately.

Even though we created CNAME Records correctly, we are facing this issue as of now.

How To Solve Blogger Naked Domain Redirection Issue?

# Step 1 :

If you have not created an account in Google Apps, Please create a free account in Google Apps . Sign up the free trial, it is very simple Sign Up procedures using your domain name.

# Step 2 :

After creating acccount you will be redirected to Control panel of google apps registered with your Domain Name.

First Click "Domain Settings" in Top tab, Then click "Domain Names" then you will find something similar to below image.

In the place of "Change Redirect" in the pic below, you will see "Redirect_Your_Naked_Domain" as you are using this first time.

Domain Settings -- > Domain Names

# Step 3 :

After that click "Redirect_Your_Naked_Domain" Option in Domain names, Then you will see something similar like below picture. So in the space you have to add "www", that means your naked domain.com will redirect to www.domain.com. And click "Save Changes". Thats it you are done with redirecting your blogger naked domain.

www in the redirection option

What actually Google apps is doing ?

Google apps is creating one more CNAME record to the DNS settings of the service provider. After doing this, if you check settings in blogger, you can see that the check box for the redirection will get automatically activated.

Hope you have find the solution for Blogger's Naked Domain redirection. If you have doubts related to this or anything related in the world of technology you can feel free to comment here. Thanks

    1. Hi Shylu...

did you configured your DNS Settings properly.. ?

you have to configure the CNAME and A-Records correctly in the DNS Settings (that can be seen in the admin panel of your domain name provider)
